Test Ninjas vs. ClassVal: A 7-Day Trial and 100-Point Guarantee or a Free Daily Plan?

Test Ninjas offers a big SAT course with a 7-day trial and a 100-point guarantee; ClassVal is a free-to-start practice plan. Compared as of October 2026.

Test Ninjas and ClassVal both prepare you for the Digital SAT, but they are built differently. Test Ninjas describes a large course: 251 lessons, 20 full-length practice tests and a money-back guarantee with specific conditions. ClassVal is a daily practice and mistake-review plan that starts free. The decision comes down to whether you need lessons and a guarantee, or a free-to-start routine.

Before you pay for any guarantee, read the eligibility rules first. A guarantee only helps if you can actually qualify for it.

ClassVal publishes this post, so read it with that in mind. The Test Ninjas details below come from its own pages as we read them in October 2026. Where we could not find something, we say so. Where Test Ninjas is the better fit, we say that too.

How We Compared These

ClassVal is the publisher of this article. We compared the two using each company’s public information as of October 8, 2026: Test Ninjas’ purchase page, its SAT page and its Digital SAT money-back guarantee page on test-ninjas.com, and ClassVal’s own Terms and product pages. We did not buy a Test Ninjas plan or test it ourselves, so this post covers what Test Ninjas says about itself, not how it feels to use. We have not repeated Test Ninjas’ score-gain or user-count claims, because we cannot verify them.

Plans, prices and guarantee terms change. Confirm everything on test-ninjas.com and classval.world before you commit.

What Test Ninjas Says It Offers

The Test Ninjas Digital SAT plan, as listed on its purchase page, includes a 251-lesson course, 20 full-length practice tests solved by its tutors, 3,000 continuous-practice questions, 433 problem sets, 30 Reading & Writing modules and 30 Math modules. It also lists a 10-book prep series, study guides, daily goals and streaks, a mistake-review ladder and time-per-question pacing analytics. Its SAT page quotes a larger figure of “7,800+ practice questions,” so the figures differ. Confirm on the live page what each number covers for the plan you buy.

The SAT page also says Module 2 adapts to your Module 1 performance on its practice tests, and that the engine runs in a phone browser with nothing to install. We did not run those tests, so we are reporting what the page says.

We could not read a Digital SAT price. The purchase page showed “Loading prices…” when we fetched it, so we are not quoting any dollar figure for Test Ninjas. Look at the live page.

The Guarantee Fine Print

The 100-point guarantee is the most distinctive part of the Test Ninjas offer, so it deserves a close read. This is the wording from its Digital SAT guarantee page, summarized.

  • You must have purchased a Premium membership on or after November 1, 2025.
  • You need an official Digital SAT score report from before you bought Premium, and that starting score must be 1250 or below.
  • You must complete 100% of the SAT course lessons and submit 5 of the 20 full-length practice tests inside Test Ninjas.
  • You must sit another official Digital SAT during your active membership window, and your official score must rise at least 100 composite points.
  • If you qualify, the page says it refunds your most recent Premium payment, not earlier ones. It says only one refund is allowed per account, ever.
  • You claim by email with your official score report and a dashboard screenshot. The page says claims are reviewed within 5 business days. We did not find a filing deadline stated.

Notice what follows from those rules. A student who already scored above 1250 is outside the guarantee as written. A student who does not finish every lesson is outside it too. That is not unusual for guarantees, and it is not hidden, but it means the guarantee is one tool for one kind of student. Do not treat it as a promise that applies to everyone.

How ClassVal’s Guarantee Compares

ClassVal has a score improvement refund guarantee for Premium, set out in section 13 of its Terms. You must have logged a baseline (an official SAT score or a Bluebook practice test score), completed every scheduled Map session through your test date, taken an official SAT on or after the scheduled date and logged the result. If your official total did not increase over your baseline, the refund covers the Premium payments from baseline to test date. You request it by email within 30 days of your score release.

Summary of each company’s published guarantee terms, October 8, 2026. Read the full terms on test-ninjas.com and classval.world.

Work you must complete100% of lessons and 5 of 20 full-length testsEvery scheduled Map session through your test date
What is refundedMost recent Premium paymentPremium payments between baseline and test date
LimitOne refund per account, everNone stated in Terms

These are different promises. Test Ninjas sets a 100-point bar, requires finishing the lessons and five tests, and refunds one payment. ClassVal refunds if your official total has not increased, requires completing every scheduled Map session, and refunds the Premium payments between baseline and test day. Neither is a score promise. Both depend on your doing the work and on your official score, which no study tool controls.

Where Test Ninjas Is the Better Fit

If you need concepts taught, a lesson course does that and ClassVal does not. If you learn from books, Test Ninjas lists a prep series and long study guides. If you want many full-length tests with tutor-written solutions, 20 is far more than the one full-length test on ClassVal’s free plan. And if your starting score is 1250 or below and you plan to finish the whole course, the 100-point guarantee may reduce your risk, within the limits above.

The 7-day trial is also a fair way to test the product before paying, as long as you cancel before day 8, which its page says avoids a charge.

Where a Practice Plan Is the Better Fit

If your gap is not knowledge but consistency, a course of 160+ hours may be more than you need. ClassVal gives you 35 adaptive questions a day for free, a plan that rebuilds around your results and a Lab for reviewing your mistakes. Premium is $5.99 a month, published on the site. You can check the price before you give anyone a card, and the free plan needs no card at all.

If your starting score is above 1250, the Test Ninjas guarantee as written would not cover you, while section 13 of ClassVal’s Terms lists no starting-score condition. That is a fact about the published rules, not a verdict on either product.

Your Next Step

  1. Take one free test. Use Bluebook for an official-format baseline and sort your misses by skill.
  2. Check your starting score against the guarantee rules. If a guarantee matters to you, read the eligibility list before you buy.
  3. Try one free week. Use the Test Ninjas trial or ClassVal’s free plan, and note whether you actually do the work.
  4. Pay only for what your gap needs. Lessons for missing concepts, practice for a consistency gap.
